This Forum is created to discuss Nepal’s Tourism in the era of COVID-19.
Like many other sectors, tourism is greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic…. In fact, tourism has been hit the hardest as the majority of the global population is under lockdown, international borders are closed, planes are grounded, and events are canceled. The severity of the impacts of COVID-19 on tourism in the long-term is still unknown.
The forum was launched by Gyan Nyaupane, Ph.D. and other members of the Steering Committee in 2020 to host dialogue between practitioners, scholars, government officials, business owners, and the general public interested in understanding what steps are necessary for Nepal to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic.
